FROM THE POTENTATE

Wow. Can you believe it's August? This year is flying by. July was a great month. Zem Zem Shriners stood tall and were well-represented in the Warren and North East Parades, the Zem Zem Fun Run for Kids motorcycle rally made over $14,000 for the First Lady's Project, our elected representatives attended Imperial Session in Tampa and everyone had a blast at the Mercer County Shrine Club for the Summer Ceremonial Weekend.

This year the Sportsman's Spectacular Raffle will benefit Shriners Children's Erie. Please contact the Zem Zem office if you want tickets (to buy or sell) for the Sportsman's Spectacular or Jeep Wrangler raffle. The Jeep will be at the Warren County Fair the second week of August and the Great Stoneboro Fair the first week of September. If you have an event where you'd like to have the Jeep to sell tickets, just let me know and I'll make sure it gets there.

A WORD FROM THE FIRST LADY

First and foremost I'd like to thank Oriental Guide Tom Miller and everyone else who made the Inaugural Zem Zem Shriners Fun Run for Kids a fun and successful event. Over $14,000 was raised for the 2026 First Lady's Project! I'm blessed to have so many special people dedicating their time and effort to this great cause.

The next major event for the First Lady's Project is the Jewelry Jackpot raffle in October. Please contact me or Vicki Miller if you would like to get some tickets, either to purchase or sell. It's shaping up to be a fun afternoon for the ladies.

In closing, I want to thank EVERYONE who's supported me in this endeavor. There's no way I could ever do it alone, and I appreciate you all more than words could ever express.
